LEAGUE INFORMATION
Dates: JUNE 1 - AUGUST 12, 2023 (Playoffs AUGUST 10 -13)
  • THURSDAY EVENINGS (INTERMEDIATE 5:30 or ADVANCED 7:30)
  • FRIDAY EVENINGS (ADVANCED BEGINNERS 6:00PM)
  • Sign-up Fee:    $75/ Tustin Hills Members    ($110/ Non-Member)
  • Sub Fee:           $30/ Tustin Hills Members    ($80/ Non-Member)

  • DEADLINE FOR PLAYERS/ to sign-up ( Wed May 17th)
  • DEADLINE FOR SUBS/ to sign-up (Wed June 21)

8 teams in each division with play-offs at the end.

Teams are composed of at least 2 men and 2 women. (Teams may have 3 women and 1 man or 4 women)
Each match will have 4 lines of play.
Each line will play 3 games. Each game will be first to 21 points win by 2. (Rally Scoring - MLP)
Guaranteed 6 games each match.
 
The following are the lines.
  •  Men's Doubles
  •  Women's Doubles
  •  Mixed Doubles (Team 1)
  •  Mixed Doubles (Team 2)

There will be minimal waiting, as 2 courts will be assigned for each match.

Balls will be provided for all league games.

SCORING & PLAYOFFS
  • Every line will play 3 games to  21 points win by 2 (Rally Scoring - MLP)
  • Every game won will be 1 match point (MP) for the team.
  • There are 4 lines in each match so most (MP) that could be scored would be 12. (4 lines with 3 games each)
  • Standings in the division will be based on most (MP).
  • If there is a tie at the end of season the following will be the tiebreaker rules for the playoffs:

*If tied , Head to Head during season

PLAYOFFS
At the end of the season each team will make the playoffs. There will be a single elimination bracket playoff. Playoffs will be for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place.

(PLAYER SUBS) Rules and Format
There will be a male and female sub list.
The sub list will be divided into 3 categories. Advanced Beginner (AB), Intermediate(I), Advanced (X)

NO PENALTY FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Male may sub for male and female may sub for male or female.
  • (AB) player may sub for an (I) player or (X) player
  • (I) player may sub of (X) player.

PENALTY RULES:
If the sub is not on the roster or an illegal sub plays, the following will apply:
  • If a sub wins (6 points) - that team receives 2 points and the other team receives 4 points overall
  • If a sub wins (5 points) - that team receives 2 points and the other team receives 4 points overall
  • If a sub wins (4 points) - that team receives 2 points and the other team receives 4 points overall
  • If a sub wins (3 points) - that team receives 1 points and the other team receives 5 points overall
  • If a sub wins (2 points) - that team receives 1 points and the other team receives 5 points overall
  • If a sub wins (1 point) -   that team receives 1 points and the other team receives 5 points overall

TIME PENALTY RULES

If a player is late the following will apply:

  • 10-19 minutes (loss of choice for all 3 games)
  • 20-29 minutes (1 game penalty, 11-0, loss of choice for remaining games)
  • 30-44 minutes (2 game penalty, 11-0,11-0, loss of choice)
  • 45 + (3 game penalty, 11-0,11-0,11-0)
LOSS OF CHOICE (Serve, Return, Side, or Defer)
