2024 OLA Conference Session Proposal

Things to know before you begin:
  • The person submitting this form is functionally the primary contact/lead presenter
  • Sessions must be relevant to the library profession
  • We encourage sessions focusing on collaboration, community, and creativity
  • We encourage presenters to design their sessions with keen attention to EDIAR and accessibility
  • OLA is a volunteer organization and the OLA Conference is both professional development and a fundraiser; session presenters are not financially compensated and must register for the conference unless they are only attending to present their session and will take part in no other portion of the conference (note that if this is cost-prohibitive, please contact us so we may explore other options)
  • Tips for a great program proposal
Fine print:
  • Submissions are open to everyone, regardless of OLA membership status
  • It is unlikely we'll be able to accept every proposal; we may reach out to multiple presenters with similar, strong proposals with adaptation requests/considerations
  • Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023
  • All primary contacts will be notified of their proposal's status no later than Saturday, December 2, 2023
