What to Expect

The goal is to provide community members with the background needed to assist in the planning, implementing, and sustaining an outcome-focused, data-driven, research-based strategic approach to positive youth development.

Key outcomes of this Orientation:
  • You will learn about the research foundation, prevention science, system and process of Communities that Care.
  • Draft a Vision Statement for CTC in our community to gain approval from the key leaders 
  • Develop organizational structure and procedures needed to implement the CTC process.

*The CTC Orientation is a repeat of the information provided at the Key Leader Orientation in April. If you attended that orientation, attending the visioning and workgroup session will be most beneficial for you.
