ANROSP Committee Descriptions
Audit Committee:
The Audit Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Oversight of the finances (excludes the Treasurer).
• Ensures that that an external auditor is hired every 5 years or as the committee sees fit.
• Performs an Audit of the Treasury on an annual basis.
Communications and Marketing Committee:
The Communications & Marketing Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Identify, create, and launch public relations, marketing and information efforts to targeted groups and members.
• Work with President and Membership Chair to develop and maintain community relationships to increase membership in
ANROSP.
• Create general branding for the Alliance, including maintaining the integrity of the logo design and products.
• Develop marketing and communication strategies, plans, and advertising campaigns.
• Manage, promote and distribute of information through newsletters and web page development.
• Work with the Membership Committee to provide ANROSP member benefits and resources.
• Work with the Membership Committee to collect and maintain data from member programs via an annual survey to gather
information on program goals, mission, and accomplishments.
Conference Committee:
The Conference Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Work with the Vice-President/Conference Chair to coordinate all aspects of the annual ANROSP conference, including
negotiations with facility/hotel representatives, catering, audio-visual needs, soliciting and selecting presentations and
keynote speakers, developing and receiving all registration materials, maintaining accurate and complete financial records,
organizing printing of name tags, developing the conference program and schedule, coordinating conference sessions,
preparing information packages to be given out at registration, coordinating local volunteers, organizing the silent auction,
arranging field trips, hosting special guests, etc.
Finance Committee:
The Finance Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Develop and review Alliance fiscal procedures, fundraising plan, and annual budget (as needed) with staff and other Board
members.
• Present a written annual report to the Board at the annual meeting when convened.
Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Recruit and maintain strong membership in ANROSP.
• Develop policies regarding membership levels, criteria, and fees.
• Keep membership records and forms up to date.
• Review and approve applications for membership.
• Work with the Communications & Marketing Committee to collect and maintain data from member programs via an annual
survey to gather information on program goals, mission, and accomplishments.
• Process membership information, review new membership applications, orient new members, and provide up-to-date
information to the membership, including a membership roster.
Nominations & Elections Committee:
The Nominations & Elections Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Set the annual ballot of Board members for all positions coming vacant by inviting members in good standing to run for the
Board through announcements via the email list, newsletters and in person at the annual conference.
• Strive for geographic diversity of candidates as well as balance of representation of types of member programs (university
associated, independent, city or county based, etc.).
• Prepare, distribute, collect, and count official ballots of the voting membership. For ballot counting purposes, the President
shall appoint a replacement for the Officer-at-Large if that person is on the current slate of nominees.
• Conduct the election of new Officers. Officers will be elected from within the Board-elect of Directors at the January
meeting.
Program Resources Committee:
The Program Resources Committee of ANROSP shall have the following responsibilities:
• Identify, compile, create and deliver program resources for program members of ANROSP.
• Work with the Membership Committee and the Communication & Marketing Committee to provide ANROSP member
benefits and resources.
• Work with the Chair to develop and create access to programmatic resources, adaptable curriculum modules, program
resource files and trained mentoring teams for developing programs, Best Management Practices, and resources for the
ANROSP newsletter.
• Develop, plan, organize, and implement mentor training programs annually, and help connect developing programs to an
appropriate mentoring team.
• Maintain up-to-date version of all PRC materials (Program resources files, results resources, etc.) in digital format, and
upload to Google Drive.
• Coordinate with Membership Committee Chair to ensure that all new members receive Program resources files.
