West Coast Grill would like to offer you the opportunity to compete as a bartender in our third annual Master Shucker and Caesar Throwdown competition in Nelson on June 16th, 2019.

The event gathers Chefs and bartenders from around the Kootenays. Last year, we had 76 people attending the event. The event will take place on the beautiful lakeside patio of West Coast Grill.

As a Bartender contestant, you will be provided with the basic ingredients to make a Caesar (vodka, clamato, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, celery salt, salt & pepper and limes). You will have to bring anything else you need for the creation of your Caesar. At 2pm you will be requested to make a Caesar at your table to showcase your presentation to the public as well as a jug of your Caesar for the guests to sample. At 3:30pm, you will make a fresh Caesar to present to the judges.

You will be judged on the originality, the presentation and the taste. We will have a prize for the 1st and 2nd position. A prize will also be dedicated to the public vote winner. Each contestant will get 1 extra ticket to give to friend or family We have limited spots available and contestants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.
