HeadStart Action is a geographically and demographically focused personal and social development programme supported by the Mayor of London and GLA (Greater London Authority). Through social action, the programme supports young people to gain employability skills, aid their personal development and gain work experience.
The programme supports young people to remain in education and work towards a career path that they want to pursue through the development of employability skills.
Alexz Educational is recruiting young people aged 14 to 18 years living and/or studying in London (priority those in Harrow) to participate in the educational programme HeadStart Action.
🎯 The young people who will be part of the programme will have the opportunity to participate to free training and mentoring sessions and develop a social action project through which they aim to bring awareness and create change surrounding a social cause they care about. Through the programme, the young people will have the opportunity to discover new passions and develop skills that will guide and prepare them for the career they want.
At the end of the project, which lasts 16 weeks, the participants will be given the opportunity to do a work experience placement - either on a volunteering or employment basis.
The project is sponsored by the Mayor of London Trust and London Youth.
