"Stillness is not about focusing on nothingness ... It’s opening up an emotionally clutter-free space and allowing ourselves to feel and think and dream and question," author Brene Brown says. We are living in an extraordinary time when there is much chaos in the world and many demands on our time as well as personal pressures. It is a struggle to slow down, seek balance, and abide in silence. But there are many ways to practice "the art of pausing" and still be productive. This mini-retreat explores simple, concrete practices we can adopt to bring greater balance into our lives and create enough space to "feel, think, dream and question."

St. Columba’s is committed to offering retreats and workshops at the most affordable rates possible. To that end, we offer reduced rates and scholarships to those most in need. If you can assist us in building our scholarship program we would be grateful.
Scholarship
Our scholarships are limited to what donations we have to the Scholarship Fund at time of registration.  Scholarships are partial in order to serve more people. Check all that apply. If you check that you would like to donate to the fund, please send a check to St. Columba's Inverness, PO Box 430, Inverness, CA 94937 with 'scholarship fund' in the memo line, or check box for a PayPal link specific to scholarship fund which will be sent by separate email.
