Upbeat Studios is a free after-school music production and performance class for students ages 12 - 24. Taught by professional Artist Educators, who are performers and producers in the Greater New Orleans area, our young people are immersed in hip hop, rap, dance music, and other popular genres, working with industry-standard technology. Classes at the New Orleans Jazz Museum will focus on live event production and live audio engineering.
Classes will take place on Sept 24, Oct 8th, Oct 22nd, Nov 12th, and Nov 19th. Students who take part in all classes will have an opportunity to work at a live event with the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
