Gr. 3-6 Silver Birch Reading Club at the Bridgenorth Library

This is the registration form for the Gr. 3-6 Silver Birch Reading Club at the Bridgenorth Library. We will meet three times in 2024 with an intro club meeting, a half way through meeting and a wrap-up voting day and party. These meetings will be on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30pm.

The dates for 2024 will be:

Wednesday Feb. 28th

Wednesday April 3rd

A Teacher or Library Staff member will walk Chemong students over to the library for 3:15pm. Children will choose books from the Silver Birch Express, Fiction or Yellow Cedar Reading lists and need to read at least 5/10 of the titles to vote for their favourite author at the end of the program. At the program we talk about the books, complete fun book related activities and sign out books to read at home. Children will be able to return and select books outside of club meetings whenever the library is open (these books are only available for club members).
