We're looking for many positions at Whiskers & Meows and they positions come with perks like caring for a colony of cats and playing matchmaker to help them find their fur-ever homes. You'll also get bragging rights about our residence to humans (because you love people, too, right?) and the best part is that you will provide memorable experiences to people! 

Full and part time positions are available.

We anticipate a flood of interest (yay!) - please only apply if you are serious about a career in animal welfare, and can commit to at least 15 hours with our kittos. 

Responsibilities
  • Feeding/caring for residents
  • Documenting cat health and administer meds, if necessary
  • Clean litter boxes
  • Know each residents personality
  • Facilitate adoptions
  • Keep cat lounges and cat privacy clean and tidy
  • Answer or direct any questions to the appropriate source
  • Sweeping/Mopping
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with cats a plus 
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • People person; comfortable speaking with people about our cat residents and organization's nonprofit mission
  • Comfortable telling people they have to follow the rules
  • Comfortable kicking people out who aren't following rules
  • Comfortable conducting adoptions and gauging appropriate fit
  • Must be comfortable cleaning litter boxes
