NOTE: A District Association may request the SQI Scoring Committee to appoint a pickup scorer on their behalf. The District Association shall pay (or re-imburse) the travel, accommodation and out of pocket expenses for the pickup scorer.

All requests must be made through the Events Advisory Committee no later than six weeks prior to the relevant State Championship. Arrangements may not be made direct with individual scorers. Individual scorers are not permitted to enter into agreements for personal financial gain, if such action occurs a penalty will be applied to both the individual scorer and the District Association.

Scorers appointed as pickup scorers to District Association teams shall be provided with the required uniform on a loan basis. A pickup scorer may purchase uniform items with the approval of the District Association they are representing.
