Join us this summer for a fun and inclusive mural camp, where you'll get to learn about the art of mural creation and work together with other local students to produce an amazing piece of public art. Led by experienced muralist Alex Fowkes, the 4-day program is open to students in grade 8-12 and requires no prior experience. You'll get to explore your creativity, learn new skills, and contribute to the community by designing and producing a collaborative mural at the Pemberton & District Community Centre. Don't miss this unique opportunity to unleash your artistic potential and make new friends!
This program is brought to you by Pemberton Arts Council and Village of Pemberton.
A public reception will be held to celebrate the completion of the mural. This program is a unique opportunity for young artists in Pemberton to unleash their creativity and make new friends while contributing to the vibrant public art scene in the community.
Pemberton Arts Council encourages participation from underrepresented groups, including Indigenous Peoples (First Nations [Status/Non-Status], Métis, and Inuit), Black, People of Colour, People living with one or more Disability, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and other groups who experience systemic barriers to participation.
