Memes of Production DRG Application
Thanks for your interest in Memes of Production!

For context, this DRG is a reading group where we read recent research papers in HCI on fabrication and discuss them!

For example, here are papers we might read:
https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3411764.3445551
https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3411764.3445311
https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3411764.3445187
https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3411764.3445422

In the group, you'd be expected to read the papers and summarize them, contextualize them with other relevant research, and present them to peers in the group. For understanding many of these papers, having an existing strong grasp of fabrication systems including 3D printing is important. We will not be building prototypes or writing software in this group---it is only about reading academic papers!
