The Museum’s Story
The Hulett Museum and Art Gallery opened to the public in 2010. Since that time, the museum has worked hard to prove that art, history, and community are inseparable. We continue to collect and display Western art, archaeological finds, paleontological pieces, Native American culture, and local historic items that are representative of Hulett and the region’s diverse past.
The Museum’s Mission
The mission of the Hulett Museum and Art Gallery Foundation is to collect and preserve the history, culture, and integrity of northeastern Wyoming. The Foundation seeks to inspire, educate, and enrich the lives of the community, tourists, and visitors by collecting and preserving various objects. These objects are artifacts of the heritage of the people of Hulett and surrounding communities.
Why should you support the museum?
The Hulett Museum is a 501 (c)(3) organization. As a non-profit, we rely on local assistance to grow and develop as a museum. Any type of support allows us to create a space where we can share our history with visitors far and near.
