At registration you agreed to purchase all uniform & dance shoes etc. from A1 Dance. Items purchased elsewhere are not permitted in class unless agreed with the Teacher.

Which Ballet Shoes?
If you know which make has fitted better previously, please select accordingly.
Clear selection
Size - Ballet Shoes
If you already have a pair then check the size to help decide, if not then please use usual shoe size. Generally if their current pair are well worn, they will have stretched, so if you can see the size on them order a full size bigger.
Tap Shoes
Some styles do not have half sizes, please see the size chart before making your selection.  https://www.a1dance.co.uk/uniform-size-charts If you're still not sure which size then please ask us for advice.  If possible ask to try some at class before ordering so we can be more sure of the size required.
New or Pre-owned Tap Shoes
We sometimes have pre-owned tap shoes for sale, please indicate below whether you would like pre-owned if we have any in your required size. If you have tap shoes in good condition they will be considered in part exchange. If you select pre-owned & we haven't any that size we will let you know before you pay.
Handing in Tap Shoes for part exchange
Only clean Tap shoes in good condition will be considered. Please tell us what size & style you would like to hand in.
Foot Thongs
Worn for Contemporary & Gymnastic Dance (Acro) from Grade 1. Please select by shoe size.

Leotard
Leotards should fit like a second skin without wrinkles. See https://www.a1dance.co.uk/uniform-size-charts for more details e.g. approximate ages etc.
Skirt
For Ballet, Modern & Tap up to Grade 1. Skirts are worn on the waist with the waistband above the naval. Length to fit 1-2 inches / 3-6cm below the buttocks. See https://www.a1dance.co.uk/uniform-size-charts  for more details e.g. approximate ages etc.
Shorts
For Ballet, Modern, Tap, Contemporary & Gymnastic Dance (Acro). See https://www.a1dance.co.uk/uniform-size-charts  for more details e.g. approximate ages etc.
Girls Dance Tights
Size - Dance Tights
Top Tip! Teach your child how to correctly pull on their tights by gathering them down to the foot & then gently easing them up the leg to the crotch. Waistband should cover the naval. Following this advice will avoid unnecessary damage & feel more comfortable.

Size - Underwear - Girls Dance Pants (knickers) Boys Dance Briefs
High cut 'nude' underwear recommended to wear under leotards. Underwear should never show out!
N.B. The age size labels listed are approximate, (girls sizes on left, boys sizes on right) the girls ones are quite a small fit & the boys age sizes are a generous fit. Please ask to try on if you're not sure.
Size - Bodystocking
Optional underwear for girls needing more support. Compulsory for shows from approx. age 9yrs.

If you want more than one pair of socks say how many here -
Size - Crossover Cardigan
Crossovers are recommended for Boys & girls during cooler weather & should fit so the sleeves end above the wrist & the body falls just below the waist. There's a hole in one side to allow the tie to thread through.

Once payment has been made we aim to have orders of current stock items available to collect at the next class, you will be informed when we expect any out of stock items to arrive if we've been given a due date.
