Thank you for considering Second Chance Animal Rescue League, Inc. for adoption. “SCARLI” would like to place each of its animals in the most appropriate home, and therefore would like you to fill out this application.
If you rent your home or apartment (or own a cooperative apartment or condominium), please provide a copy of your lease (or by-laws) indicating that cats are permitted on the premises. You must be at least 25 years old with a current ID showing your name and address and provide a working telephone number. If you are living with your parents, one of them must co-sign the final Adoption Agreement.
Our adoption fee is $225 per cat. Upon approval and choice of cat, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit.
Adoption Process
- Submit an application to be considered to adopt from SCARLI
- The Adoption Coordinator will reach out to you directly.
- We require a home walkthrough via video.
- Adoption Coordinator will contact your references and inform you of a decision regarding your application.
- If approved, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit.
- If approved, time will be setup for you to meet and/or pickup your new furry friend. You will pay the remaining adoption fee upon pickup.
