Eagle Township Appeal Application
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) shall have the authority to act on those matters where this Ordinance provides for administrative review/appeal, interpretation, and shall have authority to authorize a variance as defined in the Eagle Township Zoning Ordinance and the laws of the State of Michigan. The ZBA shall not have the authority to alter or change zoning district classifications of any property, nor to make any change in the text of the Ordinance. The ZBA has no authority to grant appeals to overturn decisions involving special land uses or planned unit developments. 

This application may be used to receive an official, final interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance text or map.

Application Escrow
Eagle Township requires the deposit of funds into an escrow account prior to the review of any zoning application. The escrow account funds the administrative application fee, ZBA meeting costs (including notices) as well as reviews by the Township Planner. Any unused portion of the escrow will be returned to the applicant upon conclusion of the review and inspection process. The required escrow deposits for ZBA cases are as follows:
