BSides Leeds is a community event, and we can't run a successful event without the support of our crew.
As part of our MVP Team, your role can include everything from helping set up, sponsor liaison, speaker liaison, registration desk. supporting Cooper with videos, room monitors, first aider etc.
Experience isn't necessary, but you need to be approachable, friendly, enthusiastic and want to help others get the best out of their day.
There are a lot of good reasons to volunteer, free entry, behind the scenes access, and something good to put on your CV, are just some of them, but there are also some downsides. You will miss most of the talks and you'll probably be one of the last to the bar, so please, do not volunteer if you expect a free ride or an easy day, you will have to work hard and embrace the chaos!
Filling in this form does not guarantee you a crew place, but we will let you know before the next ticket drop so if you are unsuccessful you can try to get a ticket through the normal method.
