Every spring, we ask for your input into our goals and plans for the future. Normally, we hold two meetings where you can provide input into our School Improvement Policy (District and School Level), our School Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and our School-Parent Compact. In an effort to get as much feedback as possible we are providing three ways for input: Class Dojo, Facebook, and our web page. We value your feedback and genuinely hope you will take a moment to answer a few questions. Thank you for being involved!

The Fannin County Board of Education sets goals for the entire district. Two district goals for 2020-2021 are: 1. Students taking the Milestones ELA (English Language Arts) assessments will meet or exceed the 3% achievement improvement targets. 2. Students taking the Milestones Math assessments will meet or exceed the 3% achievement improvement targets.

A School-Parent Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all our students reach grade-level standards. These are the Family Responsibilities to support West Fannin's goals. Please select the ones you agree with:

Read with my child at least three times per week (working up to 20 minutes).

Practice writing, spelling, and math skills with my child three times per week.

Use grade level newsletters, Class Dojo, and the school web site to access information and resources.

Attend at least one academic-based family engagement activity that supports reading, math, writing, or emotional health.

Promote the learning and practice of a healthy lifestyle.

Monitor attendance including absences, tardies, and early dismissals.
