Asian Pacific Alumni of UCLA 2024-2026 Board Nomination Form
APA UCLA is seeking enthusiastic and resourceful Bruins who can bring their skills, expertise, strategy, leadership and optimism to advance our mission to support the UCLA and API community at large.

Individuals may self-nominate or nominate another Bruin for the positions on the APA UCLA Board of Directors.
  • There are three (3) board officer positions (vice president, treasurer, secretary) and several board directors at-large positions we are hoping to appoint.
  • Only current board members may be nominated for board officer positions. All are welcome to be nominated as directors at-large.
  • Board officers and directors at-large attend regular board meetings, the annual general body/election meeting and special meetings as needed.
  • Directors at-large generally serve on and/or co-chair 1-2 board committees (e.g., governance, fundraising, membership, student programs, communications/social media, gala); committees meet monthly or on an as-needed basis.
  • Directors at-large are to support the APA UCLA mission, act as an ambassador, and participate in events, programs, activities, etc.
  • Contribute your time, talent and treasures to advance APA UCLA!
Process Timeline: A resume should accompany your application. Applications are due May 1, 2024. Submitted applications will be reviewed by mid-May by the Governance/Nominations Committee. Select candidates will be interviewed in late May. Recommended candidates will be placed on a slate for the APA UCLA Board of Directors for election in June 2024. The APA UCLA Board Officers and Directors' terms commence July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026.
