All faculty are welcome to join the Spring 2025 COES Faculty Learning Community.
Thel learning outcomes of this faculty learning communityl include the following:
1) Build community among faculty in the College of Ethnic Studies
2) Share engaging and innovative pedagogy that builds community in our classroom and supports student success
3) Consider ethnic studies & equity minded financial literacy curriculum that could be introduced into the classroom*
These are the dates of our COES Faculty Learning Community
Friday January 31 from 1-4pm SF Chinatown
Friday February 21 from 10am-1pm Oakland
Friday March 7 from 12-1 COES Mid-Semester Check-in LUNCH & Home Buying - Hybrid/In-person & ZOOM
Friday May 2 from 12pm 3pm SF State - Lunch & Final Presentations
We will offer a $500 stipend for your participation. If you miss a meeting, we will prorate the stipend.
*This faculty learning community is being funded by a Department of Education AANAPISI REACH grant.
