October 2022 SCC Faculty and Area Music Educators Showcase - Application to Participate
Thank you for your interest in the SCC Faculty and Area Music Educators Showcase hosted by the Music Department at St. Charles Community College.  This recital will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 7:30pm in the Social Sciences Auditorium with the intention of providing our faculty and local music educators an opportunity to perform for their students and the SCC community.

No audition is required, however, there will be an adjudicated acceptance to perform so that we can select a diverse program that fills a total of 60-70 minutes.

To be considered, please complete this Application to Participate by September 30, 2022.  Schedule and show order will be sent by October 14, 2022.

FAQS:
Accompanists - SCC may be able to supply an accompanist if necessary.  Sheet music would need to be provided in advance.  Please designate this in the production notes section of the form.  You could also bring your own accompanist.

Time limit is a total of 10 minutes per performer/group.  You may submit up to three songs, but we may limit the selections that will be performed based on the number of applicants.

Private instructors are invited to apply.  Preference may go to SCC Faculty and local high school classroom instructors, but variety of pieces will be the priority for selecting the performers and performance order.

Collaboration with other musicians is encouraged.

All genres of music are welcome!

This is a free concert and seating will be general admission.
