AO PTA Nomination Form
Please consider nominating yourself or someone you know to be a PTA Officer. Elected Officers will serve a 1 year term beginning July 1.

The only elected officers are president, one or more vice president(s), a secretary, and a treasurer.

Please read each Officer description carefully and nominate any AO parent. We will follow-up with each nominee and they must confirm their nomination before their names are added to the ballot. Elections will be held in the Spring, date announced at a later time.

President:
Shall preside at all meetings of the general membership and the board of directors at which he/she may be present, and shall designate another officer to president when he/she will not be present. Shall coordinate the work of the officers, the board, and the committees of the PTA. Shall perform such other duties,\ as may be provided for be the bylaws. Shall sign all contracts for the PTA that have been approved by the board. Shall be ex officio voting member of all committees.

Vice President:
Shall perform duties requested by the president and the board. Upon a vacancy the vice president shall assume the duties of the president until a new president is elected.

Secretary:
Shall record the minutes of all meetings of the general membership, perform such other delegated duties as may be assigned, and maintain important documents.

Treasurer:
Shall collect, deposit, and maintain all funds, disburse funds, maintain records, present financial reports, remit dues to NCPTA, prepare a year end financial report, and file all required tax forms and reports.
