Bikes! Trains! Friends! Bring your bike and join us for a speedfriending adventure on the train!
WHEN: Friday, February 24th, 2023, 5:45pm - 8:45pm
WHERE: Meet at the Boggy Creek Trailhead at Conley-Guerreo Activity Center, 808 Nile St, Austin, Texas 78072
We will meet along the Boggy Creek Trail at Conley-Guerrero to gather before riding our bikes to catch the train at MLK Jr. Station. There is a Bike Shelter there where we can lock up and store our bikes. Once on the train, we will have an activity for speed-friending.
The train will drop us off at the Highland Station where we will walk together to a local spot for more speedfriending activities. After we all have started blossoming new friendships, we will catch the train back to MLK Jr. Station for our bikes. The event should conclude around 8:45pm.
The route includes the Boggy Creek Trail, EastLink, and the Red Line train. The ride is beginner friendly.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring a bike, helmet, and bike lock if you have one. Also, please wear your favorite t-shirt! If you do not have a bike and need to borrow one for the event, please make note in the form below.
