At Bridging Gaps, we provide microloans for entrepreneurs from the Global South to establish their own businesses by raising donations from the Global North. The Bridging Gaps Fundraising Fellowship is a new innovative program designed to empower young leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to become effective fundraisers for non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the UN, and other social impact initiatives. The fellowship will provide participants with hands-on training, capacity development, and real-world experience in fundraising, enabling them to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. The Bridging Gaps Fundraising Fellowship has a duration of at least 3 months and can be extended to a maximum period of 12 months. During this time, participants are provided with a comprehensive understanding of fundraising principles and strategies.

Participants who successfully complete the Fundraising Fellowship will receive a certificate of completion with all partners’ logos, and may be eligible for university credits (depending on prior agreement with their university).

To incentivize participants' participation in the program, 10% of the funds raised by each participant during the real-world experience will be provided to them as a stipend.

The 2024 cohort will be selected in May and expected to start the fellowship in September 2024.
