Student name
Your name and relationship to student
1.) My middle schooler has my permission to participate in the BCS Community's Jr Rose Parade entry unchaperoned. I understand that the PTA, BCS, and PPS not providing chaperones or supervising individual students--this is a "walk at your own risk" event.    *
2.) I agree that my student has the maturity, independence, and problem-solving skills to safely conduct themselves home--whether from the formation area, the disband area, or any point along the parade route. This may include the following situations:

(1) A student may choose to leave the event or may become unintentionally separated from the BCS group

(2) A student may be asked to leave the event immediately if BCS behavior expectations or Jr Rose Parade rules are not followed

(3) Middle school students will be released at the disband area at the end of the parade

I am aware that my student must bring a student ID to participate in the BCS Jr Rose Parade event, must follow all directions from adult volunteers, and must follow the behavior expectations and rules listed below. (If any concerns with direction, they may seek guidance from PTA organizers Brenda Frink and Beth Silva or from any BCS staff at the event.) If behavior expectations or rules are not met, my student will be asked to leave the event and will be responsible for getting home from that location.

BCS student behavior expectations:
