The “Meet the IAU Astronomers!” programme connects teachers, informal educators and amateur astronomer groups with IAU-member astronomers for a virtual presentation. Through these meetings, the IAU members will speak with children, adults and other members of the public on an astronomical topic, the importance of astronomy for society, and choosing astronomy as a career.

After submitting your request, we will send a confirmation email within a few days. After you confirm some information, we will find an IAU member who best matches your request and place you in contact with them directly to arrange the details of the meeting.

Please note submit your request at least three weeks before your preferred meeting date. Please plan to provide the platform (e.g. Zoom, Skype, etc...) for the meeting.
