Dear Parents:
Every year we organize several fun activities, which need parent volunteers. If you are interested in helping with any of the activities, please complete the form below by selecting the activities you would like to help with. Thank you for your time and support! Any questions please call Parkview Elementary at 683-2373. We also meet the second Monday once a month during the school year (excluding December, January, and May) at 5:00 pm in the District Office meeting room, and would love to have you join us to share your input and ideas!

Activities to choose (Choose all that you would be interested in):

Picture Day @ PV or DMS-September: You will be helping with getting students ready tohave pictures taken and helping with the paperwork involved for the photographer. It usually begins at 8:15 and is finished by lunch time 12:00 pm. We usually need 3-4 volunteers for each.

Library Assistants-Ongoing: Parent helpers are needed to assist in the Parkview Library

Movie Night-November: Parent Volunteers help with the setup of concessions to sell at the movie and getting the food ready for it, also, with cleanup after the event. It is a great night for families!

Christmas Store-December: Children buy low-cost Christmas gifts at the store for their families. Volunteers help set up the night before and then the morning of the event. Volunteers will also help with registers, keeping items/tables organizes, coffee and cookies stocked for parents to enjoy, and then will help with taking down and clean up. It is a great thing for our community!

Prim Time (4th and 5th Grade)-February: Help plan treats and an activiity for a night of reading in the Parkview Elementary cafeteria. Usually on a Friday evening from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Parent/Teacher Conferences-Parkview and D.M.S-(October, February, March)- Help provide food or desserts for Parent Teacher Conferences.

Giving Week--March: Students participate by bringing donated food and household items to donate to the foodbank. Volunteers assist in collecting the items and delivering the items to the food bank at the end of the week. Collecting and delivering time is around 2 hours.

Fun Day/Track Day-May: Help with activiites during the day, and help bring any items needed for Fun Day. You also help with set up and clean up, and organizing classes/students in their Fun Day and Track Day activities.

Heritage Day: Help with keeping KG and 1st graders moving through events assist with setting up the event and getting the volunteers in place

Dental Screening: Assisting the visiting dentists to each classroom and assisting the students

Vision Screening: Help with getting classes to the screening area in a timely fashion
