About StartUP Virtual
StartUP is a program of The University of Scranton Women's Entrepreneurship Center (WEC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC), which is a part of the Kania School of Management, and include WEC student interns and SBDC staff who offer business start-up information, guidance, and encouragement.

StartUP Virtual is a six-week, self-learning online certificate program that gives women the step-by-step guidance they need to develop successful small businesses and like the flexibility of a virtual learning series completed on their own schedule.

This program designed for women with lower incomes, women experiencing a life transition or women trying to make a better life for themselves and their families. Participants will be offered support and guidance in determining if for-profit entrepreneurship is an option for them.

This program is currently offered at no-cost to participants and is open to women who reside in the Pennsylvania counties of Bradford, Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne or Wyoming.
