In order to be a DJ at Cabana Bay, you MUST be able to meet our expectations.

We are an all-inclusive club, and as such ALL are welcome here from all of walks of life. Intolerance and disrespect will not be tolerated.

Prior experience DJ'ing IS preferred, but not required. Talking on the mic between songs IS preferred, but NOT required. Talking while a song is playing, will not be tolerated.

You will be REQUIRED to make/have a discord so you are able to view the Info Blog. This is used to download club news,  view schedules & other important info.

Must be able to fulfill VIP musical requests in a fairly quick amount of time. Guests expect that they can request a song and hear it within a song or two of requesting. IF a VIP requests a song that does not fit the set theme (ie. country request on a rock set, or rock request on a country set), you may politely decline, stating it doesn't fit the theme.

Must have an extensive collection of Top Hits for Rock, Classic Rock, Pop, Southern Rock, Country, and R&B (NO RAP WITH MASS-PROFANITY OR DISCRIMINATORY LANGUAGE, NO CONSTANT TECHNO). If a guest asks you for a song, be able to play it for them. Your 2 hour show must have variety and transition well.

DJ's are REQUIRED to interact with crowd in local chat, we are not looking for DJ's that only play music & speak a few times on air....we know it gets busy answering IM's & filling requests, looking up songs and so on, but you will be required to be involved in local along with your Host.
