2022 Camp Create Scholarship request

Each summer Artscope is able to provide scholarship opportunities based on available funding. Providing equitable access to the arts to children is integral to the Artscope mission, and we are continuously seeking funds to increase scholarship availability each year.  

- Artscope has two camp locations in Tower Grove Park this summer for two different age groups: 1) May 23 -August 19 for rising KDG - 5th graders and 2) July 18 - August 5 at the Stupp Center for rising 4th - 6th graders

- Artscope dedicates several spots per week of summer camp for students who require 20% - 90% scholarships.

- Camp Create participants must be at minimum five years old and a rising Kindergarten through 5th grader in Fall 2022 for programs at our Cottage (May 23 - August 19) or a rising 4th-6th grader for our programs at the Stupp Center (July 18 - August 5). IMPORTANT: Rising Kindergarteners must be five years old by the first day of their camp, and must have already completed one year of full-day preschool. Absolutely no exceptions.

- Scholarships will be awarded until available funds and slots are depleted, and must be requested by the parent or legal guardian of the camper.

- Each camper may receive no more than two scholarship-funded weeks of summer camp per year.

- Scholarships are need-based and trust-based. We trust that if your family is applying for a scholarship, you cannot afford to pay full Camp Create tuition. No financial documentation is required.

- Artscope cannot provide transportation to or from camp.  

- Scholarship positions not filled ten days prior to the start of a camp will be made available to the general public as regular paid camp spots.

Artscope will inform all applicants of their scholarship status no later than Monday, May 9. Families awarded scholarships will receive registration information at that time. We ask that families who cannot accept their scholarship notify us immediately, so we have adequate time to enroll a child from our scholarship waitlist.
