This performer registration is for the Spring Spectacular Social Hafla & Potluck on Sunday, March 26, 2023. At Jawaahir Studio, Minneapolis MN. This is a good fit if your dance piece is not quite ready for the big stage. Or if you prefer to share your dance in a relaxed social setting. There is no particular tech crew but we will have a photographer/videographer. You can sign up to dance when you arrive, but we will give priority to those who register in advance. You do not need to be a Guild member to perform. Look for a confirmation email after you submit your entry.
5:00 PM arrive and set up – we’d love your help with this! Begin buffet & socializing
5:30 PM (or so) Dancing will begin as soon as we are ready
7:00 PM We’ll end with some open dance time…bring your dance shoes and hip scarf
7:30 PM clean up – also love your help!
8:00 PM exit
ALL styles of belly dance are welcome (Orientale, folkloric, fusion, etc.) Musicians are also welcome! Groups are encouraged. This is an informal dance event. Makeup and costume are not required. Maximum length: 6 minutes. Family friendly is preferred. We will also give priority to those who did not perform in the Saturday show at Elision.
