Applications are due by June 7, 2024 by 2:00 pm to the Recreation/Camp Director. Interviews will be conducted within 3 weeks of receipt of application.

These positions are a seasonal summer position at Camp Cochipianee Summer Day Camp for Summer 2024. All CIT's (Counselor's in Training) who are hired must be available 2 to 6 weeks of camp (to help with scheduling). Interviews will be scheduled in the evenings or Saturday mornings.

Counselor In Training must be 14 years (as of first day of camp on June 19) and older to apply. CIT's will be paid a weekly stipend or hourly wage, depending on their age.

Counselors-In-Training (CIT’s) are responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment and positive camp experience for both children and staff. The CIT’s will be either in charge of assisting the Counselor in organizing and implementing activities corresponding to their specific area; Wilderness, Sports, Arts and Crafts, My Time, Pre-K area and Floating responsibilities or in charge of a age group and walk around to each area with that specific group of campers.
