Welcome OSA students!

This year, we will be selecting 10-12 exemplary students to be Student Ambassadors for the AME (Arts Media and Entertainment) Institute Pop-Up Oakland. Students will be selected from each of the 6 AME pathways:
Visual Art/Graphic Design/Commercial Art
Professional Music/Audio Production
Professional Dance
Professional Theatre and Stage Technology
Film/Video/Broadcast/Multimedia Production
Animation/Game Design

What are we looking for in our Student Ambassadors?
- An interest in pursuing a career in their AME pathway or in arts education.
- Professionalism. Student Ambassadors will be interacting with speakers and attendees answering any questions they may have.
- Strong communication skills. Student ambassadors will be room hosts for Institute sessions, welcoming attendees and supporting speakers when needed.
- Flexibility. Student ambassadors need to be able to think quickly on their feet, maintain a calm and friendly demeanor and problem-solve.
- Availability. Student ambassadors must be available for an in-person training day immediately after school on March 9 at OSA. Students will also need to be available to work on March 10 from 7am-7:30pm . There will be a virtual on-boarding call on March 5 from 4-5:30pm.
- Transportation. Student Ambassadors will need to be able to get themselves to OSA for the in person training and the event.

What will Student Ambassadors gain from this experience?
- AME Ambassador Gift Bag
- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on March 10
- Exposure to industry experts, insights, and extended learning opportunities in their AME pathway.
- A resume-building experience.
- New friends! Our team of Student Ambassadors will work together to support each other. They will also have an opportunity to network with AME Institute speakers and attendees.
