Sappyfest 18 Artist Submission Form (August 4th-6th, 2023)

Sappyfest is an annual three-day festival of music, art, poetry and performance that takes place in the heart of downtown Sackville, NB. We are a small but big-hearted gathering and a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to producing a non-hierarchical event with a broad program of regional, national, and international artists. We focus on emerging artists, unheralded career artists, and celebrated artists working in all styles of music and sound, as well as poetry, dance, film, and the visual and performing arts.

We are now accepting applications for Sappyfest 18, taking place August 4th-6th, 2023.

This call is open to submissions for music, sound art, performance, poetry, dance, readings,  interactive projects, installations, public education and engagement (e.g. workshops, conversations, explorations) or any other form of creative expression or collaboration. If you can dream it, we’d love to hear it!

Applications close on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023.

We will endeavour to reply to everyone who submits an application, but please note that depending on the volume of submissions we receive, we may only be able to contact those who we think we can program this year.  Thank you for your interest and time!

If you need support with this form or the submissions process, please contact: Andrea, Sappyfest Creative Director at submissions@sappyfest.com.

With care,

Sappyfest
