Volunteer Opportunities

CREATIVE ENRICHMENT (Grade Level Opportunities) Help coordinate outside programing that lines up with grade level cirriculums. Vendors in the past have included the Discovery Museum, Drumlin Farm, Eyes on Owls and more.

SUNSHINE COMMITEE: Remember meeting fellow friends and families at the Kindergarten or New Family Playground Meetups? Or maybe you joined your fellow incoming parents/guardians in tears or celebration for the start of school at the BooHoo/WooHoo Breakfast? We are looking for a few people to join the Sunshine Committee and help plan and execute these events for next school year.

LEOPARDFEST: Help plan and run Loring's Back to School Event scheduled for the end of September!

HOSPITALITY: Includes Holiday Treat Sampler, Teacher Appreciation Week, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.

ROOM PARENT (Grade Level Opportunities): In this role you will coordinate class gifts and send periodic emails to the parents in your child’s classroom when specific messages need to be communicated. Time commitment is less than an hour/month.

AUCTION/PARENTS NIGHT OUT: Help plan this PAWSOME event held in the spring! A variety of roles are avaiable. No event planning expereince necessary.

FUN RUN: The company we partner with does most of the heavy lifting but we'll need help coordinating food and working with the teachers to get the kids excited to run and raise money!

YEARBOOK: Looking for a yearbook chair as well as smaller roles range from taking pictures, organizing collages, and managing layout.

5th GRADE EVENTS (Pumpkin Walk , Class Gift, Broomball, Moving On, Field Day)

COMMUNICATONS: (Webmaster, Directory and Sales/Form Support) Help manage the PTO webiste! HTML experience is NOT necessary!

CAMP FAIR: Held at Lincoln-Sudbury High School, this is one of our biggest fundraisers! Opportunity range from helping with setup and clean up to marketing the event around town.
