Please note that disagreement of the release form does not disqualify you from participating in the conference. Please read the release in its entirety.

Release Form
In consideration of the opportunity to present my opinions, content and materials as a speaker, panelist or presenter at the 2021 virtual AABHE Education Conference, I hereby authorize the Released Parties to use and/or publish my full name, my country, my city and state of residence, photograph and biographical information, and any statements or comments made during the Event (“My Content”) (in whole or in part) for the purposes of sharing the content and outcomes of the 2021 conference with the general public.

If I submit a slide deck, photograph, video, written statement or other copyrightable or copyrighted work (“My Submissions”) to the Released Parties in connection with the Event, I represent and affirm that I am the creator of My Submissions, and My Submissions are original and are my own. I shall not use any third-party content, trademarks, logos or other proprietary material in My Submissions without either (a) procuring advance written consent from the third party to allow the use within My Submissions by me and by the Released Parties, or (b) confirming the material is in the public domain and freely useable by anyone, and in either case appropriately attributing the third-party content to its source within My Submissions. The Released Parties have the right to request proof of such consent/confirmation from me. I hereby grant to the Released Parties a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, copy, cache, publish, display, and distribute My Submissions (whether alone or accompanied by other material) via the AABHE website or other vehicles used to share the content of the 2021 conference. In so granting, I will retain full authorship of My Submission and will receive attribution whenever the content is copied, cached, published, displayed, or distributed.

I hereby release and hold harmless the Released Parties, their representatives or anyone who receives permission from the Released Parties to use My Content and My Submissions, from any and all liability, including, without limitation, any claims or losses arising from or in connection with violation of rights of privacy, publicity, defamation, moral rights, trademark or copyright, resulting from their exercise of the rights granted under this Release. Such release in the prior sentence includes claims for what might be deemed to be misrepresentation of me, my character or my person due to distortion, optical illusion, faulty reproduction or technical errors that may occur in the finished product.

I represent and warrant that I am eighteen years of age, or such other higher age of majority as is required in my state of residence, in order to make a contract like this one. I represent that I am not under an employment, right of first refusal or other obligation to provide My Submissions to a third party in lieu of providing them to the Released Parties for purposes of the Event. I have read and understand all of the terms of this Release prior to its execution, and freely agree to be bound by them. Following my signing and delivering this Release to the Released Parties, I understand this Release will bind me legally and that the Released Parties will rely on this Release.
