We are pleased to invite you to the “Shifting Gear: Accelerating Active Mobility for Future Generations ” event co-hosted by the European Climate Foundation (ECF), the Dutch Cycling Embassy, The Netherlands, the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance (TDA), Walk21 and the World Resources Institute (WRI) . This event will be held at the Benelux-EIB Pavilion, Sharm El-Sheikh International Convention Center (SHICC) on Thursday, 17th November at 09:30 – 11:00 EET.

Important: COP27 accreditation (badge) needed.

This event will emphasize active mobility as an essential factor in the system approach to sustainable mobility and will include the launch of a Call for Action to support Active Mobility Capacity Building.

Confirmed speakers and panelists include: Ms. Vivianne Heijnen, Minister for the Environment of the Netherlands, Ms. Sharon Dijksma, Mayor of Utrecht, Mr Manuel de Araujo, Mayor of Quelimane, Mr. Lucas Harms, CEO of the Dutch Cycling Embassy
