Come join us for our kick off event and first workshop of the year on April 29th from 10 am - 2 pm. Learn to improve the biodiversity of your yard, garden, or farm by making your land a welcoming place for native beneficial plants and insects! Staff from CCE-Madison County will join us at the farm to share their knowledge of native plants and establishing hedgerows and field borders. Minimum lunch (TBD) will be provided. If you'd like lunch, please register by April 21st, so we can have an idea of how many people will be attending. We'll be getting our hands in the soil and planting so if you have gloves, please bring them with you.
10:00am - 10:30am: Sign in, gather, and socialize (coffee will be available)
10:30am -12:00pm: Presentation and workshop
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Planting and other farm tasks
1:30pm - 2pm (and beyond) lunch and more socializing.
There will be water available to drink but we encourage you to bring your own. Please come dressed for the weather. We will be gathering light rain or shine. In the event of an intense storm we will reschedule.
We hope you can join us!
