Join the waitlist to play Balanced Breakfast's 2020 Showcase in Austin during SxSW.
This year Balanced Breakfast has 5 unofficial showcase dates in Austin during SxSW. BB will be at the Jackalope on 6th Street from 12-6PM on Monday, March 16th through Wednesday the 18th. Additionally, we will be at Still Austin Whiskey Co in East Austin on Friday, March 20th and Saturday the 21st. We will choose 50 bands from the applications we receive, and notify all bands via email of our lineup choices. If your band is approved, you will be assigned a 40-minute set. We start every showcase with a "Singers in The Round" set featuring 3 artists, so we accept applications from solo singer-songwriters in addition to bands. Unfortunately, the venues do not allow DJs during our showcase. Finally, applying does not guarantee your band a spot in the showcase, but we will notify you either way.

MORE DETAILS:
• Drums, a guitar amp, and a bass amp are back-lined.
• Sound equipment, including mics, PA's, and monitors will also be supplied.
• Selected artists can sell their band merch at the venues.
• It is preferred that all members of the submitting band be 21+, but it is not required.
• There is no compensation for playing the showcase.
