Following with the success of similar campaigns in Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya and gateway@klia2, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru is introducing The Boba Festival Campaign: Guess The Boba Tea Brand Challenge on 07 December 2019! All bubble tea enthusiasts are invited to participate in the festival that is guaranteed to give you the Boba fix you need.

How To Participate:
- The contestants are required to register prior to the contest date. Each session will accommodate 20 participants at maximum with 3 sessions available at 12pm, 2pm and 5pm. First come, first served basis.
- The contestants are required to taste six different cups of bubble tea from participating brands such as Gong Cha, Chatto, Blackball Mini, Each A Cup, Shake Shake and Teadayz at the contest booth. Contestants have to try to guess the brands of all six cups of bubble tea correctly.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The BOBA Festival: Guess the Boba Tea Brand Challenge (“BOBA Challenge”) is organised by WCT Hartanah Jaya Sdn Bhd (“Organiser”). Registration for the BOBA Challenge is open from 18 November 2019 until 07 December 2019; submit via Google Form: https://forms.gle/qajyRjbiA61aKFg67 

2. The BOBA Challenge is opened to contestants of all nationalities who are aged 18 years and above at the time of participation and no participation fee is required. Contestants who are Malaysian citizens or permanent resident of Malaysia must hold a valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC). Contestants who are not Malaysian citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia must hold a valid passport. All Contestants must produce their NRIC or passport upon registration for the BOBA Challenge for purpose of verification and failure to produce the same will automatically disqualify/disentitle the Contestant(s) from participation.

3. The BOBA Challenge will be divided into three (3) sessions which will be held at (12:00p.m.,2:00p.m., and 5:00p.m. on 7 December 2019 at Level Upper Ground Atrium, Paradigm JB (in front of A-Look Eyewear). Only twenty (20) Contestants are allowed to participate at each session.

4. All Contestants must adhere to these Terms and Conditions and all rules and regulations as may be informed by the Organiser’s staff on duty at the contest booth (“Contest Rules”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Organiser reserves the absolute right to amend or vary the Terms and Conditions herein without prior notice to the Contestants.

5. The Organiser’s staff will be present at the contest booth to amongst others, manage the contest booth, verify the Contestants’ answers and ensure compliance of the Contest Rules.

6. All Contestants must not behave in a rude, disorderly or unruly manner before, during and after the BOBA Challenge. The Organiser reserves absolute right to disqualify Contestants who behaved in such manner, notwithstanding the results (if any) of the BOBA Challenge, and enforce any and all rights it has in equity and in law against the Contestants.

7. During the BOBA Challenge, the Contestants are required to taste six (6) different cups of bubble tea, from the participating brands, namely, Gong Cha, Shake Shake, BlackBall Mini, Each A Cup, Teadayz and Chatto (“Participating Brands”) at the contest booth and try to guess the brands of all six (6) cups of bubble tea from the participating brands correctly.

8. Any complaints in relation to the bubble tea must be informed by the Contestants to the staff on duty before the start of the BOBA Challenge. The staff on duty retains absolute discretion to not entertain any such complaints.

9. Contestants who correctly guess all six (6) cups of bubble tea from the Participating Brands at each session will stand a chance to become the winner of ONE (1) YEAR SUPPLY OF BUBBLE TEA for that particular session from either six (6) of the Participating Brands, namely Gong Cha, Shake Shake, BlackBall Mini, Each A Cup, Teadayz and Chatto, which shall consist of forty eight (48) cups of bubble tea capped at four (4) cups a month (“Prize”), redeemable only at the outlets at Paradigm JB. There will be a total of six (6) Prizes, i.e. two (2) winners for each of the three (3) sessions.

10. In the event there is more than two (2) Contestants who correctly guess all six (6) cups of bubble tea from the Participating Brands at each session, the Organiser will run a mini game (name, type, rules and regulations of the mini game to be determined by the Organiser and all decision(s) of the Organiser are final and binding on the Contestants) to determine the winner for that particular session.

11. However, in the event where no Contestants could correctly guess all six (6) cups of bubble tea from the Participating Brands at a particular session, the Contestants with the most numbers of correct guesses at that session will be the winner of the Prize. In the event where there is more than two (2) Contestant with the most number of correct guesses, Clause 10 shall apply mutatis mutandis.

12. All decision(s) of the Organiser shall be final, conclusive and binding upon the Contestants.

13. By participating in the BOBA Challenge, the Contestants agree to allow the Organiser to collect, use and process the personal data of the Contestants in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

14. The Contestants shall further agree to allow the Organiser to disclose the Contestants’ names and personal data to its affiliates, related companies, agents, directors and professional advisors. The Contestants shall further agree to allow the Organiser to use and publish the Contestants’ names and/or photographs for purposes including but not limited to publicity, promotion, marketing and advertising without further notice.

15. By participating in the BOBA Challenge, the Contestants acknowledge and accept that:-

(a) not all Participating Brands are halal certified and the Contestants shall at all times exercise its own discretion in respect of their participation thereof and consumption of the bubble tea;

(b) the bubble tea served by each Participating Brand may differ in taste, quality, quantity, volume and size and the Organiser makes no warranty whatsoever in any of these respects to the Contestants;

(c) there may be risks associated with their participation thereof and the Contestants are to solely and fully bear all such risks arising out of and/or occurring before, during and after the BOBA Challenge which may include gastro-intestinal, choking or other physical/health complications. In connection therewith, the Contestants shall sign and return an Indemnity Form in the format prescribed by the Organiser, failing which the Contestants’ entries into the BOBA Challenge shall be incomplete and not be accepted by the Organiser.

16. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Contest Rules at any time without prior notice to the Contestants.
