Alice in Wonderland: AUDITION FORM (REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED)
Arts Bonita Young Actors Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Alice in Wonderland! Join us on a whimsical journey through Wonderland as we bring this beloved tale to life.

Ages 8-18 (as of June 24, 2024)

Directed by Danica Murray.

AUDITION DETAILS:

Date: MAY 7th

Time: 5-8pm

Location: Arts Bonita Performing Arts Center at 10150 Bonita Beach Rd. SE, Bonita Springs, FL

Please prepare a 1-minute cut of a song (16-32 bars) that showcases your vocal range and acting abilities. You may bring a backing track on your phone, or sheet music to be played by our accompanist.

Individual time slots will be assigned the week prior to auditions. If you have not received an email containing a time slot by MAY 5th, please email us at youththeatre@artsbonita.org.

Video auditions are encouraged for anyone unable to attend in-person auditions. The same materials are required, but you will be sent a dropbox file request where you can upload a video by 11:59pm on MAY 7th

If cast, rehearsals will begin June 24th and will take place Monday-Friday evenings until the performances on July 19-21 (no rehearsals July 4-5th)

Please note that tuition for this production is $380. We do offer financial assistance to many of our students, so please reach out the email below for application/instructions prior to casting in order to be considered.

  • Mathilda (Female): Alice’s older sister, logical and grounded.

  • Friends 1 & 2: Snooty friends of Mathilda who find Alice odd.

  • Cheshire Cats 1-3: Magical felines in three parts, friendly guides.

  • White Rabbit: Perennially tardy royal trumpeter.

  • Doorknob: Gatekeeper of Wonderland.

  • Dodo Bird: Captain of the Queen’s Navy.

  • Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum: Goofy twins with impeccable manners.

  • Rose, Lily, Petunia, Daisy, Violet: Rudely exclusive Flowers.

  • Caterpillar: Charming and theatrical.

  • Mad Hatter: Tea party host with a penchant for hats.

  • March Hare: Ever-celebrating and game-loving tea party host.

  • King of Hearts: Placid partner of the Queen.

  • Queen of Hearts: Hot-tempered monarch of Wonderland.
