An outdoor career exploration event for 250 high school students in Freeborn, Mower, and Fillmore counties (mostly sophmores & juniors)

Wednesday May 8 from 9:30am -11:30m (set-up from 8:00- 9:15am)
Lunch will be provided for vendors!
Event may be moved inside if weather is bad.
WHY:
The SMEC high schools have collaborated on this career-connected learning initiative in direct response to businesses’ needs for future talent, which is the number one issue of employers today. Our goal with this event is to provide students with a relatable link to the real world through hands-on expertise and concrete examples of how academics relate to future educational and occupational opportunities right here in southeast Minnesota.
