Buried is the myth that climate change will spare us some decades to prepare. You and us, we have all seen what disasters climate change has brought to us in the form of floods, rising temperature, wildfires and heat waves this year. We have seen Pakistan lose thousands of lives because of floods and a major part of world's largest pine forest.

In recent past, how it has affected Pakistan and what upheaval floods brought to our homeland is now a great concern for existence and prosperity of Pakistan. Climate Change poses existential threat to our homeland. 

The question stands firm staring at our faces, are we ready to combat? Are we ready to fight this existential crisis? Or are we going to stay still and watch climate change inhabiting our world and eventually making life on earth unbearable?

With almost zero media coverage and no leading politicians talking about it, it is evident that no one has yet acknowledged the threat of climate change let alone the policies needed to combat it. Our media is not talking about it, our politicians are not debating on it. Our institutions are not yet ready to put forward research-based policies into action. This leaves with us a paramount responsibility of awakening ourselves and our masses.

In the end, it is me and you who can initiate a movement of awareness. We need to join hands to combat this crisis and raise awareness among the masses of Pakistan. It is only when the people are aware, they will take practical steps to mitigate its impact. Join us as an ambassador for climate change to raise awareness and take individual steps to to lower its impact.
