Any senior graduating from Arkport Central School in 2024 is encouraged to apply for scholarships.
Applicant may apply for one named scholarship/award, in addition to an Arkport Alumni Scholarship. (We suggest always applying for the Arkport Alumni Scholarship along with one other available.)
Applicant does not need to attend a two (2) or four (4) college, but can be attending a trade school, going into the military or directly into the work force!!
IMPORTANT: Award and Scholarship winners will be notified at the Graduation ceremony and students are expected to attend the Arkport Alumni Banquet on July 12, 2024, at The Main Place, Hornell, NY. The Alumni Association will cover the expense of the awardees meal. Checks will be distributed at the Alumni Banquet. Failure to attend the Banquet will delay receipt of your check.
Please complete all sections of the application and submit a personal statement addressing why you are deserving of the named award using the following criteria:
1. 12 point, Times New Roman font.
2. 500 word limit; submissions less than 350 words will not be considered.
3. Heading should include your full name, your email address, and your cell phone number (this heading does not count toward the 500 word limit).
4. Be thorough and detailed in your statement to meet the description.
FINAL DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 17, 2024.
