We have had such a huge success with our group that we need to shift gears to accommodate the amount of orders we have. We are looking for you all to help us create groups of you lovely Seamsters that can focus on particular steps, sizes, and styles. This way we can try to reach all the groups in need as quickly as possible.

About:
Nevada County Masks formed in March 2020 in Nevada County, CA when a local ICU nurse requested help making reusable masks. With her vision, we applied a multifaceted pandemic approach by covering not only medical staff but also grocery stores, nursing homes, and those who are at very high risk for complications relating to COVID-19.

As of June 19, 2020 we have made and distributed over 8,000 quality cloth face masks, as well as scrub caps, soap, ear saver bands, and much more.

The masks and supplies we provide are free of charge and given to those in high risk categories and are available on request.

Creates masks for men, women, and children.

How You Can Help
Be a volunteer. You can help with deliveries, sew, embellish, get masks and supplies ready to be mailed out, make patterns, etc.

Donating, elastic, thread, left over breathable silk, cotton, or polyester microfiber fabric.

Especially needed are items we can auction for fundraising efforts each month.
