Do you wish you could capture your memories in writing? This two-hour workshop will give an introduction to short-form memoir, also called personal essay or narrative essay. Whether to publish or simply to share with loved ones, you’ll learn how to jog your memory, reconstruct dialogue, and structure your story.
Ainsley Hawthorn is a nonfiction author and cultural historian raised in Steady Brook and based in St. John’s. She writes for CBC, blogs for Psychology Today, and her anthology Land of Many Shores (Breakwater) was named a top ten NL book of 2021 by literary critic Joan Sullivan.
