Biodiesel is a renewable energy source refined from oil and grease (e.g., used cooking oil). Studies have revealed that the use of biodiesel to replace conventional diesel is conducive, helping reduction of wastes, and subsequent reduction of energy use, pollutant emissions, etc. in the waste handling processes.

Attendants will be able to acquire knowledges and understand:

- Different types or grades of biodiesel

- Local applications of biodiesel

- Global development and trends about biodiesel Physical visit to biodiesel production factory/facilitie

ASB Biodiesel, a green energy which is 100% produced by waste cooking oil that can reduce waste and provide a new source of energy. ASB perseveres with its motto of turning waste into energy which has been dedicated to collecting used cooking oil from local restaurants or food processors and produce the sustainable biodiesel.

It is the  SOEHK’s policy to continue to retain your personal data upon completion of processing your registration. Such data are required for the purpose of communication only. If you do not wish the SOEHK to retain your personal data, please notify the  SOEHK in writing.
