My child has permission to move up an age bracket if the coaches feel that is the best placement for her dance level.   *
My child has permission to participate on Senior Team or Open Kick if the coaches feel that is the best placement for his/her dance level.  I understand that this means my child will most likely attend the Dance Worlds in Orlando Florida. *
My child is interested in being a crossover for another team (competing on more than one team).  I understand there would be an additional cost. *
My child is interested in being a crossover RESERVE for another team.  This means he/she would be a substitute in case one is needed.  There is no additional cost unless he/she competes. *
My child is interested in being on a Kick Team *
CONFLICTS -  PLEASE READ BEFORE FILLING OUT!!
The following conflict charts will aid us in team placement, determining practice times, and competition selection for 2020-2021 season.  While we cannot possibly plan around every family's schedule, we WILL take in to consideration unavoidable conflicts you may have already scheduled.  Unavoidable conflicts include things such as a family wedding, religion, vacations that have already been booked and paid for, etc. We are not guaranteeing we will be able to plan around all conflicts nor should this be looked at as an excuse sheet for conflicts during the season.  DANCERS WITH TOO MANY UNAVOIDABLE CONFLICTS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE ON A TEAM.

ALL COMPETITIONS AS WELL AS THE 2 PRACTICES BEFORE A COMPETITION ARE MANDATORY IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.  Once the practice and competition schedule is set, please be sure to discuss all conflicts with your dancer's coach or a POD director.

**PRACTICE TIMES MAY BE SET ANY TIME BETWEEN 4:00-9:30 PM MON-FRI AND SATURDAY MORNINGS.
Summer Session - July 6-30. ALL Competition Teams and Prep Teams (Tiny's included) will begin practice in the summer and may practice during the DAY due to studio space.   A team list will be given out to help with carpooling.   Please list conflicts below.  Please be specific.  PERFORMANCE TEAMS- please put NA as your answer since summer classes are optional for Performance Teams. *
Are any of your summer conflicts flexible.  Explain. *
MANDATORY Choreography Camp is tentatively set for Aug 10-13 and Aug 17-20.   Competition Teams and Prep Teams (Tiny's included) will be given a 2-3 hour time slot each day to begin learning their first routine (Tiny's practice much less).  Please list conflicts below.  Please be specific with times.  PERFORMANCE TEAMS - please put NA as your answer.  (missing some or all of choreography camp could mean your child is a reserve for the routine being worked on). *
Are any of your Choreography Camp conflicts flexible? *
Yearly Conflicts- any conflicts you already know of for the year including weddings, school concerts, religion, booked vacations.  ALL teams (Competition, Prep, and Performance) list below.  Be very specific with days and times.   Religious Education is by far the most common yearly conflict.  While we in no way mean to reduce the importance of religion class, we WILL have to have some teams practice on Wednesdays (including Seniors).  Please explore your options for Religious Ed.  If your child has Religion, list the time as we may have to schedule a practice before or after. *
Are any of your yearly conflicts flexible in any way. *
The conflicts you have listed here are for planning purposes.  With over 100 dancers on team, we cannot possibly memorize each person's schedule nor will we look back at these sheets as the year goes on.  You will still need to notify DAWN of your absences as the year progresses so that she can enter them on the studio calendar.    Please remind us of your child's unavoidable conflicts at least 2 weeks prior.  Thank you! *

IMPORTANT FINAL TEAM INFO - MUST READ
The commitment to the POD All-Star Program is for the ENTIRE DANCE SEASON.  Routines, formations, choreography, staff, competitions we attend, and the placement of your dancer on a team are all based off a commitment of each member at the beginning of the season.  It is important that each dancer joining a team does so with the intention of keeping that commitment for the entire season.  Tuition for All-Stars and all classes is split into monthly payments for the convenience of families.  Should your child leave a team for any reason during the season, the family will be expected to pay the rest of the year's tuition at the time of departure.  Competition and Prep team dancers - your commitment is set at the end of July.  Performance Team Dancers- your commitment is set Aug 31.

Due to the uncertainty of the times- full monthly tuition payments will not be required if the studio is once again shut down due to COVID-19.  However, team fees associated with choreography, music, and similar type expenses which we pay at the beginning of the year will be required as those expenses are not dependent on team practice.  A chart with expenses broken down will be provided.
We have read the Power Of Dance All Star information.  We understand the time, costs, and expectations.  We agree to these terms and will do our best to keep the lines of communication open between the team, the coach, and our family.  My daughter/son has my permission to accept a position on a Power Of Dance All Star Team. *
Required
Please tell us how you would like to pay the $35 audition fee.  ($14 for Tiny All Stars).  -  Fee includes a Power Of Dance Tank top.  Fee due by June 17th. *
