2023 National Workshop on Data Science Education

This workshop is organized by the UC Berkeley Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society with support from Microsoft.

The workshop is free for attendees.This year's workshop program has not been set.

The 2022 program followed the following format 
June 20-21
 Training on teaching Data 8 and overview of Berkeley Data Science
- Bootcamp on teaching a Data 8 style fundamentals class
- Office hours from the Berkeley professors and student staff and Labs for Data 8, Data 100 and Data Science Modules
- Panels on California Institutions   

June 22--23 Thematic Panels
- Panels and discussions on a variety of topics of national and international interest
- Community Building amongst Data Science Educators
- Project Based Learning
